Beckett was finally declared cancer-free

At just 4 years old,
Beckett Burge from Princeton, Texas, was diagnosed with pre-B acute lymphoblastic leukemia in April 2018. His world suddenly filled with hospital rooms, IV lines, and long nights of pain — but through it all, one person never left his side: his sister, Aubrey.

A touching photo of Aubrey gently comforting Beckett during chemotherapy went viral, showing the world the silent strength of love between siblings and the emotional toll childhood cancer places on families.
After two years of treatment, on October 15, 2021, Beckett was finally declared cancer-free. He returned to school, joined Little League baseball, and began living the childhood that cancer once tried to take away.

Through their page “Beckett Strong,” the Burge family shared every step of their journey — moments of fear, hope, and triumph — inspiring thousands who continue to fight similar battles.
